Domino Project

In 2005, Northwest Autism Center launched Domino Project in collaboration with Eastern Washington University and Sacred Heart Children’s Center.  Committed to the development of best practices in identification, treatment and care of individuals with autism, Domino is both

  • an intensive early intervention program for young children on the autism spectrum and their typically-developing peers and,

  • a university-based teaching and observation center for students, educators and other autism professionals.

  Teaching Children How to Learn

Housed on the campus of Eastern Washington University, Domino Project provides specialized early education founded in well-researched principles of language development, learning and social behaviors.   Utilizing a framework of Applied Behavior Analysis, our program is

Year-round and Intensive             Family-Centered and Inclusive            Individualized and Evidence-based

Domino Project is currently serving 12 children and their families.
It is operated by Northwest Autism Center and directed by Dr. Shira  A. Ackerman.
